Hayley Hetherington
About
Hayley knew she wanted to be an attorney long before starting her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University. However, it was during her time at Indiana University Maurer School of Law that she discovered her calling for family law. Initially exploring a wide variety of practice areas, Hayley was drawn to family law through her work as a Managing Editor for the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality and as a law clerk for the Honorable Maryellen Diekhoff of the Monroe County Circuit Court. She developed a deep passion for working with individuals and families, which now defines her practice.
As an attorney, Hayley excels as a strategic and empathetic legal advocate. Recognizing that every family’s situation is unique, she invests time in understanding each client’s individual circumstances, concerns, and goals to develop a tailored legal strategy. Hayley appreciates the emotional and intimidating nature of family law matters and is dedicated to ensuring her clients feel supported and informed as they navigate the legal system.
When she’s not advocating for her clients, Hayley enjoys exploring all that the Little Apple has to offer. As board game enthusiast and notorious foodie, she loves discovering new restaurants and gathering around the table with friends for a game night.
